IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - Course status, Covid-19
Dear members,
The Australian Federal Government announced last night that as of 12pm today, Monday 23rd March, all registered and licensed pubs and clubs in the country must close their doors to the public in order to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
We would like to ensure all of our members that at this stage Gardens Park Golf Links Pro Shop and Golf Course will remain open under certain conditions. We will continue to follow the strict hygiene measures put in place last week and will continue to trade for as long as we can.
Golf carts are being sanitised after each use. Keys are to be dropped back into the bowl on the Pro Shop counter to be sanitised before the next use.
You will notice the X marks on the floors inside the Pro Shop, around the bar and outside areas to give everyone an idea on keeping our social distancing.
Gardens Park Golf Links will continue to utilise our takeaway license to sell 6 packs from our Pro Shop or outside bar. There are strict rules about where this may be consumed. It is forbidden to consume any takeaway alcohol in our licensed area, which includes the Beer Garden. We ask that all members and guests strictly adhere to the rules about consuming alcohol in our licensed area. Alcohol may be consumed on course including the Driving Range.
We do hope that all of our members will continue to support us and our course over the next few weeks and months. We will be continue to keep you updated on any and all changes to our business as we go.
Please don't hesitate to contact us at any time if you have any questions.
Good golfing,
Rodger Dee
